When It Is Hard To Believe In the Future.
There are times when it is hard to believe in the future, when we are temporarily just not brave enough.
When this happens, concentrate on the present. Cultivate "The Little Happiness" until courage returns.
Look forward to the beauty of the next moment, the next hour, the promise of a good meal, sleep, a book, a movie, the likelihood that tonight the stars will shine and tomorrow the sun will shine. Sink roots into the present until the strength grows to think about tomorrow.

Sometimes All That's Needed to Light Someone's Entire day, To Renew their hope in humanity, to give them energy and strength, is a simple nod, a kind word, a genuine smile. Be that Light.
It's the simplest reminder and perhaps the most important: We can brighten people's day. So be kind and be positive. it can make someone's day with the simple things life gave us all the power to do. Just open your hearts because some people may be going through a lot that they never speak of.
In the midst of the awesomeness, a touch comes, and you know it is the right hand of Jesus Christ. You know it is not the hand of restraint, correction, nor chastisement, but the right hand of the Everlasting Father. Whenever His hand is laid upon you, it gives inexpressible peace and comfort, and the sense that "underneath are the everlasting arms," full of support, provision, comfort and strength.
Don't let that spirit of dread and fear get into your life. Know that you can do whatever you need to do through the strength of God that is in you. - Joyce
