Maybe the scientists need to work out how many families live on the planet and then how many trees are needed to support this amount of people. Then as a global pact we need to ensure that these tress are left alone and maybe we pay the countries who house the forests to leave these forests standing. Almost like an oxygen farm??? If governments could look at it differently maybe they would act. Surely, this is the only way forward? Eg the whole Amazon could be protected and all the people and animals could remain living there peacefully. That's my little idea anyway, prob won t ever happen, but I dream!
