This this the definition OF unconditional love... so yes... we came to master unconditional love. Did we come from perfection and are going back? This is linear thinking. We are on a journey within linear time but within eternal time we're already there. We reap what we sow - in linear time this getting what we gave could take billions of years for us to work it out through the saving patience and grace of God, so divinely understood by seeing Christ on the cross suffering for us. God was on that cross and it tells us that His "blood soaked determination" will save us. IT make take billions of years for God and you to work it out, but with our selves in eternity watching every step. Think of a time machine. If the time machine exists sometime in the future and you are destined to be in it in then the future you can go back to your past before the time machine even existed. You'd be the future person having gone through it all watching the same person still going through it. This is "eternal thinking" instead of linear thinking. We are perfected... yet... we are not! The good news of the cross is that it tells us that God will go through ANYTHING to reach us, including us torturing Him on a cross, and He will reach us in linear time, in His time, the job is already completed - the cross won - the loving determination of God is winning and has won. If we see this and are good then the process will be shorter and less painful - it's up to us - it's up to our free will to bow to our determined God or not, to cause ourselves less pain or not... yet still, ourselves in eternity IS looking down on the mess or bliss that we have created.
We definitely have a lot of that going on all over the world and I really think it is just building up more & more everyday!! Might I add, keep in touch with your family members, before it is too late!!! I have lost too many family members in my family and I do my best to keep in contact with them!! Like you said, Life is too short and we do not know from one day, one hour, one instance when someone will be taken from us!! Cherish every single day you have and rejoice and pray, love, help others in need, don't hate at all & don't judge anyone, you have no idea what that person has gone through or where they have been!! Just be kind to one another and love one another!! Sorry Garry, once I get started I really go!! Thanks for that post!! You said it in a nutshell. I tend to go on and on further into the subject. I'm an English major, and it is a force of habit for me!! God Bless!
