Lighten our darkness, we seek you, O Lord; and your great mercy defend us from all perils and dangers of this night; for the love of your only Son, our Saviour, Jesus Christ. Amen.

The Lord bless us and keep us. The Lord make His face to shine  upon us, and be gracious to us. The Lord lift up his countenance upon us, and give us peace, this night and evermore. Amen.
